The Coaches’ Training Program – Chicago Blended

February 11 @ 9:00 am - March 12 @ 5:00 pm

Register

Throughout our training program, our candidates experience:

Skills Development: It all starts by training you to use 290 ontological tools and distinctions to better understand how people relate to themselves. With these tools, you will have what you need to coach individuals, groups, and organizations to help them make deep, sustainable shifts in how they approach everything in their lives. These skills speak directly to the International Coaching Federation (ICF) core competencies and have been tested, developed, and taught for decades. The only question that remains: what will YOU do with them?

Personal Transformation: You may have heard how all good coaches have a coach, which is why every coach and leader in the Coaches’ Training Program works with a coach to practice what you preach as you develop what is important to you. More often than not your biases keep you from seeing new information and experiences in a beneficial way – working with a coach while you gain your coaching skills helps remove barriers so you can learn to authentically connect with your clients.

Building Your Coaching Business: We believe coaching unlocks human potential. We also know that the highest form of validation you need to keep growing comes in the form of a paying client. To be truly effective, every coach needs to make a living – if you thrive, so do your clients.

Participants attend 12 weekend modules (over the course of a year) where they directly interact (through Zoom) with the program leaders. Between modules, participants have weekly one-to-one phone coaching (for one hour) with an AC graduate program coach who also attends the modules. Participants work with their program coaches on a weekly basis to further hone their coaching skills and produce results in their goal areas. In addition, program coaches provide co-coaching. In co-coaching, the participant records coaching sessions and receives feedback and training.

The modules comprise of 168 hours of student contact learning. The weekly program coaching provides an additional 48 hours for a total of 216 participant contact learning hours over the course of the program.
